EU Presidency upcoming events

Through the delivery of a dedicated EU Presidency Project, over the coming months Dóchas will focus on building a greater understanding, and heightened support of, a values-based approach to the EU’s international cooperation agenda and ODA.  Our thematic priorities will be:

– Civil Society in International Cooperation

– Financing for the future of sustainable development cooperation

– Climate & Food Security

These priorities will be the basis for mutual learning, dialogue and collaboration across the network, towards strengthening the development and humanitarian civil society space in Ireland.

There are now  opportunities for you to engage in a number of planned activities, including:

Opportunities for debate, discussion and advocacy

– Policy Papers & Conferences on:

– ‘The future of Development cooperation: Civil society’s ambition for Ireland’s EU Presidency’ – (24th June – register here )

  – MFF & Fragile states (end September)

     – Climate & Food Security (early November, Pre-COP) 

     – Roundtables on Global Gateway (early September)

     – Policy engagement trip(s) to Brussels for members

How can you engage?
