Background
We are seeking an External Board Member who has experience in Communications, Public Affairs, and Advocacy, including:
- Proven experience in public affairs, advocacy, communications or public relations
- Strong understanding of media relations, stakeholder engagement, and policy engagement
- Ability to provide strategic insights and guidance
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with strong current networks across relevant sectors
- Demonstrable experience in effective communications
- Understanding of the needs of the international development sector in Ireland

The Board meets five times a year, and the Board Member would be expected to fulfil one term of three years, which may be extended to a maximum of three terms subject to re-election at the AGM.
