(1) We Act: St. Patrick's Festival Storytelling Session - 15 March
Join us for an evening of shared stories about the meaning of community in Ireland from a diverse collection of storytellers who drive change in their communities. The theme of the evening is Meitheal: Communities Coming Together. We Act is a campaign to celebrate the doers in our communities. The people who help out, who show initiative, who take a stand. (2) GOAL: Celebrate belonging with GOAL NextGen and St. Patrick's Festival - 16 March
In collaboration with St. Patrick's Festival, Grainnemir Abualrob and Aoife Hammond, GOAL NextGen is delighted to host a vibrant evening of Celebrating Belonging, exploring the connections that unite individuals and communities in Ireland. Through a curated exhibition of visual arts, music, poetry, and spoken word, the evening promises to be an enriching experience including thought-provoking discussions with artists, activists and community leaders. (3) Oxfam Ireland: Ground Up: Climate Justice Forum - 11 April
Where are the hopeful visions of the future in these dark and uncertain times? How do we build the powerful movements needed to make those visions a reality? Come to Cork this April to discuss how we win Climate Justice from the Ground Up. Hosted by Oxfam Ireland, this festival of ideas will feature workshops, discussions and performances from a wide range of inspirational grassroots organisations, activists, community groups and creatives from Ireland and beyond. (4) VSI: VSI Spring In-person Meetup 'Empowering Solidarity' with Comhlamh Justice for Palestine Group - 5 April

(1) Concern Worldwide: Campaigning 101: Social Media Skills Workshop - 12 March

(2) IDEA: Exploring Contemporary Issues through Global Citizenship Education: Climate Justice, the missing voices - 19 March
Join the Irish Development Education Association for their first session of their 2025 webinar series: "Exploring Contemporary Crises and Issues through Global Citizenship Education" entitled "Climate Justice, the missing voices" on Wednesday, 19 March 12.30-2.00pm, online. Climate change is one of the major crises of our times. As educators, we need to address gaps in our knowledge, acknowledge bias in our understanding, and spotlight voices from diverse groups affected by the issue. (4) Saolta: Training of Trainers: Leadership Legacies – Women of Influence - 19 March
This hybrid training is free and open to all adult and community educators across the island of Ireland to build their knowledge of, and capacity in, Global Citizenship Education. As part of Women’s History Month, we will explore the powerful legacies of women who have shaped societies, challenged injustices, and inspired change. Through experiential and participatory learning techniques, we will also critically reflect on why Ireland has one of the lowest proportions of female elected representatives in Europe. (6) Media and Communications Manager - 20 March
This is a key role within a small team, where you will be responsible for press office, media relations, and driving integrated communications campaigns across media and other channels to engage target audiences. (7) Facilitator for Community Based Health in Justice Prison to Community project - 24 March
The IRC is now seeking to recruit a facilitator to work alongside the current staff and volunteers and provide support, leadership and mentorship. (9) Self Help Africa: WorldWise Global Schools (WWGS) Education Officer - 14 March
Self-Help Africa is seeking a WorldWise Global Schools Education Officer. Self Help Africa is an international development organisation that works through agriculture and agri-enterprise development to end hunger and extreme poverty. (10) Plan International Ireland: Desk Officer - 30 March
Plan International Ireland is seeking a Desk Officer to join their Programmes Department, managing institutional grants and funding for humanitarian, protracted crises, and development projects. This role involves collaborating with Country Offices and technical experts to enhance grant design and management, support business development, and showcase Plan International Ireland's impact. The Desk Officer will oversee grant management, compliance, and financial management for grants from EU ECHO, INTPA, ECW, and UN agencies. Additionally, they will support Country Offices in developing and reviewing Country Strategic Plans, provide ongoing technical and compliance support, and promote innovative and scalable programme approaches. Plan International Ireland seeks a highly motivated, organized Supporter Care Administrator to join their fundraising team. The role involves nurturing relationships with supporters via telephone, email, post, and in-person, handling incoming communications, processing donations, and ensuring GDPR-compliant data accuracy. (2) Dóchas: Call for Tender- Worldview Market Researchers - 30 March
Dóchas - Worldview is looking for established market researchers to conduct the nationally representative Worldview annual survey. Key components of this tender are ensuring longitudinal fidelity, upholding the established segmentation process to create the widely recognised Worldview segments, and continuing the project's nationally representative annual robust research of around 50 questions, following a revision down from the current 77 questions. (3) Dóchas: Call for Quotations - Worldview Strategic Consultancy - 30 March
Dóchas - Worldview wishes to contract strategic consultant(s) with specific experience and expertise in researching public perceptions of international development and ODA, to advise the Worldview public engagement research project and formulate, analyse, and report on the agile 'Part B' questions of the research. (1) Irish Development Education Association: Board Member with HR/People and Culture Expertise - 24 March
The Irish Development Education Association (IDEA) is seeking a new Board (National Council) member with significant experience in human resources (HR) and people and culture. (2) EAPPI: Now recruiting human rights monitors for 2026 - 23 March
Our human rights monitors are called Ecumenical Accompaniers, or EAs. EAs spend three months in Palestine and Israel witnessing and monitoring human rights violations and standing in solidarity with local peace activists. When they come home, they give talks in their local communities and advocate for an end to the military occupation of Palestine. EAs need to be adaptable, physically and emotionally robust, open to hearing different perspectives and able to represent EAPPI in a professional manner. Find out more here.

(2) GOAL: NextGen Youth Programme - 1 April
GOAL’s NextGen Youth Programme brings together young people from all over the world to better understand global justice issues and deepen their understanding of Global Citizenship. This programme will guide young, motivated changemakers to learn all about the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in relation climate and health systems, and how we can strive to create a fairer and more sustainable future for all. Participants will collaborate in creating awareness-raising materials to help share their learnings and hopes for our connected world.The programme is a 10-week engagement with young people in Ireland and select GOAL programme countries focused on creating the learning and empowerment opportunities necessary for positive youth-led change. (1) Charities Regulator: Charities Regulator Stakeholder Forum now open for nominations - 25 March
The Charities Regulator’s stakeholder forum was created in 2023 as a direct channel of communication with charity trustees to ensure the views and feedback of volunteers from across the sector, who are responsible for overseeing the operations of charities, are considered when the Charities Regulator is developing policies, guidance and regulatory materials. While the forum operated on a pilot basis from 2023 to 2024, the Charities Regulator sees it as a long-term initiative.
