The 2016 Summit on the Sustainable Development Goals will be hosted by Dóchas, the Irish Association for Non-Governmental Development Organisations. There will be an exciting lineup including: an opening address from President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins and a keynote speech from Erik Solheim, Chair of the OECD Development Assistance Committee. The conference will be MC'd by broadcaster Mary Kennedy, with more guest speakers soon to be announced. It will be a momentous gathering of international and domestic NGOs, government representatives, environmental groups, activists, civil society and private sector organisations coming together to connect, collaborate and make change happen. The Summit will celebrate the journey international development has travelled so far and will look to the future.
