We are delighted to invite you to attend the Dóchas Conference 2019 - Finding Our Voice: How Civil Society is Countering Uncertainty - on 2 May 2019, 2pm - 5.30pm, in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8. Registration from 1.30pm - 2pm. The Conference will explore the key challenges facing international cooperation between now and 2030. It will provide a space for discussion and new ideas about how we can shape the Irish response to these challenges, find opportunities within them, and build public support along the way. Confirmed speakers include Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of Oxfam International, and Anne-Birgitte Albrectsen, Chief Executive Officer, Plan International. All welcome but booking is required. How can your organisation enter and grow in the USAID funding market? Learn how to start building your organisation's USAID market strategy. The seminar will cover USAID funding opportunities, practices for USAID partnering, including subcontracting and tools to build and grow your USAID work. This presentation is targeted at European and other non-U.S. organisations that are interested in entering the USAID market. The seminar will be led by Mike Shanley, CEO of Konektid, a U.S. consulting firm that advises clients on partnering with USAID. There will be a presentation followed by Q&A. Please bring your questions about working with USAID! Presenter: Mike Shanley spent more than a decade of his career working in the USAID market. This included leading USAID business development and project management activities at Chemonics International, one of USAID's largest implementing partners. He has designed and managed more than $100 million dollars in USAID projects in nearly every region where USAID works. In 2013, he left Chemonics International to found Konektid with a goal to bring new approaches, innovations and products to USAID projects around the world. Konektid's mission is to help new clients enter and grow in the USAID funding market, and they have advised clients around the world on how to build their USAID funding strategies.
