A Better World - International Development Policy 2019

A Better World, Ireland’s new policy for international development, was launched in February 2019. 

Suzanne Keatinge, Dóchas CEO, wrote a letter to the editor welcoming A Better World, which was published in The Irish Independent. Dóchas also issued a press release in response to the policy – ‘Ireland’s new international development policy shows ambition, but must be matched by action’.

In July 2018, Simon Coveney, T.D., Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Ciarán Cannon, T.D., Minister of State for the Diaspora and International Development, launched the public consultation process for the Irish Government’s new international development policy.
