(2) Camara Education seeks Communications and Grants Volunteer for Ethiopian office

The Communications and Grants Volunteer ensures that all communication and information needs are met, works to take all opportunities to build and sustain relationships and generate interest in Camara Education Ethiopia using all means of communication. The Communications and Grants Intern will develop a database of funders, develop communications plans, expand communications efforts and monitor results and trends to maximize success. The role is open from March to September (some flexibility for the right candidate). (3) Development Perspectives seeks applicants for the 2018 SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Advocate programme

Are you a changemaker in your community? Development Perspectives have launched the 2018 SDG Advocate programme. The SDG Advocate programme offers 26 active citizens an opportunity to represent their community, by becoming one of Ireland’s positive changemakers. The 8 month training course will allow the advocates to deepen their understanding of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, represent the project internationally and lead transformative change in Ireland. The chosen participants will travel to Vietnam or Tanzania for 2 weeks during summer 2018. The work/study visit affords an invaluable chance to experience first-hand perspectives and challenges that people face in a different global context. Apply today to become an Irish SDG Advocate. (4) Centre for Global Education seeks Intern

The intern will work on the bi-annual, peer reviewed journal Policy and Practice: A Development Education Review. The internship involves working 16 hours per week, starting on 1 April, and will be based in the Centre’s offices in Belfast where the duties will include: support the editing of articles; maintenance of the journal web site; and researching the impact of the journal on users. (6) Short Term Volunteer Opportunities with VMM International
